Sean Stone interviews Lanny Sinkin, advisor to the dynastic king of Hawaii, about the protests over the construction of a telescope on the state’s biggest mountain, Mauna Kea.
[Ali`i Mana`o Nui Lanny Sinkin] The RT network reaches upwards of 700 million people and is one of the largest, if not the largest, news providers to YouTube. Supporters of the restored Kingdom made a connection between the King and Sean Stone of RT. At the King’s request, Sean visited with me over Skype about the controversy created by the Thirty Meter Telescope proposed for the sacred mountain of Mauna Kea. RT broadcast a five minute portion of that interview on Tuesday, April 21.
The RT program is called Watching the Hawks. Totally appropriate for our message (see seal below, right). The viewing audience for this show is reportedly around 10 million. We are grateful to RT for the opportunity to tell our story to the world.
